Cindy Deere

Cindy is a retired Finance Executive from Shell Oil Company. During her time with Shell, her responsibilities ranged across a multitude of finance roles to include Head of Internal Audit, General Manager of US Pension Plans, Mergers & Acquisitions and various business unit Vice President Finance roles. Cindy also worked as a commercial lender at Union Bank of Switzerland, Credit Suisse First Boston and The Bank of Nova Scotia prior to her time with Shell. She holds a BS in Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

Cindy is a past board chair of the Houston Area Women’s Center, previously serving on the finance, audit, leadership and executive committees. Other external volunteer efforts include a board seat on The Barnabas Partners – Houston, a seat on the Gutierrez Energy Management Board at the University of Houston, the Governing Board of Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston, and the Houston Symphony board and education committee.
