The convening is designed for professionals in the anti-trafficking or related field seeking to improve their response to human trafficking in illicit massage businesses. This includes law enforcement, investigators and prosecutors, immigration attorneys, service providers and community-based organizations, survivors, government officials, and city or state massage regulators. The convening is not open to the general public. All attendees must be 18 years or older.
The convening is hosted by The Network, National Association of Attorneys General, Thai Community Development Center, Garden of Hope, California Massage Therapy Council, and AEquitas. You can learn more about each of our co-hosts on our hosts page.
Early bird pricing has been extended and is $50.00 if you register on or before November 11, 2022. Registration cost will increase to $80.00 starting November 12th. Registration includes access to the entire two-day agenda, coffee, breakfast, and lunches for both days, and Wi-Fi internet access during the convening.
There is a limited amount of scholarship funding available. Any scholarships offered will be determined on an as-needed basis. For more information, please contact convening@thenetworkteam.org.
There is no virtual attendance option for the convening.

Yes, you can register multiple individuals during online registration. When selecting number of tickets, please select your preferred number of convening attendees and enter the corresponding information.
Yes, if your organization would like to have an exhibitor table, please select the exhibitor table option during online registration. If you have multiple people attending from your organization, only one person needs to select the exhibitor option.
The two-day convening will be an entirely in-person event. There is no virtual option.
Refunds for registration are available until December 19, 2022, although the Eventbrite administration fee is nonrefundable. To request a refund, you must contact convening@thenetworkteam.org and provide your full name and ticket order number. All refunds will be paid out directly to the card used to purchase the original registration. No registration refunds will be given after December 19th.
To modify, cancel, or request a refund from the OMNI Los Angeles, you must call OMNI Reservations at 1-800-THE-OMNI and refer to the National Convening group name.
You can book a hotel room at the OMNI Los Angeles for the convening here or by clicking on any of the “BOOK YOUR ROOM” buttons on the convening website.
Yes, you can book a single, double, or triple room at the OMNI Los Angeles for shared lodging. Triple room rates apply ($239/night or $202/night federal per diem). When booking your room, you can select “1 Room” and enter “2 or 3 Guests” as preferred. You can then select 2 Double Beds or 1 King Bed, depending on preference and/or what is available. Every attendee must still register individually for the convening and pay the registration fee.
Yes, you can attend the convening without staying onsite at the OMNI. During online registration, please select “No” when asked if you will be staying at the OMNI Los Angeles.

Yes, complimentary internet access will be provided at the venue during the convening.

The two-day agenda is being developed by the co-hosts. When it is finalized, it will be posted on our speakers page.
We highly encourage all participants to attend both days of the convening. Registration cost is the same and is not discounted or refundable if you only attend one day of the two-day event.
