The California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) is a non-governmental oversight agency, with the legislative mandate of protecting the public. CAMTC is authorized pursuant to State law, to vet, certify, and discipline massage professionals who apply for and achieve CAMTC's Certification. As part of its core legislative mandate, CAMTC ensures that schools approved by CAMTC are providing a high level of massage training. Protecting the most vulnerable is a top priority for CAMTC.
