Her Justice

Esther is a supervising attorney at Her Justice, a legal services organization based in New York City that works with the City’s largest law firms to provide pro bono services to low-income women in the areas of family, matrimonial, and immigration law. Esther specializes in immigration law, focusing on humanitarian-based relief under the Violence Against Women Act for victims of domestic violence, trafficking, and other crimes. She also develops and implements Continuing Legal Education (CLE) training programs and speaks at national immigration conferences. Prior to Her Justice, Esther held the position of Supervising Attorney with Sanctuary for Families, Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services. After law school, Esther was an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center in Washington D.C. Esther graduated with a B.A. in Politics from Pomona College and obtained her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.  Esther currently serves as the board chair for the Korean American Family Service Center in Flushing, New York.
